So you think I should raise the pressure? What do you think would be a good running pressure?
I went downstairs and with everything off, ststic pressure on Ergomax is readinhg 5 psi.
Boiler gauges are reading 10 psi.
The exp tank is charged to 20 pis.
Of note, when I opened the bypass last night to see what would happen the groaning became instantly louder.
Someone mentioned mineral buildup as this has started after 4 months of operation. In the winter, with priority set for DHW (which would be similar situation to what we have now with just the DHW running), it never made this noise. Our water does seem to leave Ca++ deposits in all our fixtures.
