Since the boiler has not been repiped yet, the boiler circ runs whenever any zone calls. There is no rumble/vibration with either the boiler pump and/or the Phase III pump running with the boiler off. However, when the boiler comes on, there is that rumbling like a semi-truck is idling in the basement. It seems to improve somewhat the longer the boiler runs. Even today, I noticed it with the pressure at about 20 psi.
I also noticed that the needle on the pressure gauge on the boiler inlet was noticeably vibrating back and forth with the boiler on. With the boiler off but the boiler pump running, there was no needle vibration. The needle on the pressure gauge on the outlet side of the boiler does not vibrate.
