Thanks. The first thing I'm going to do is replace the temp gauge.

I spoke with a Lochinvar rep who thought that maybe the pump could be screwed up or even somehow running backwards, causing the higher inlet temp. The Taco rep says that is impossible. Is there a situation where that could possibly occur? There is a swingcheck valve in the boiler outlet line to the Ergomax which I would think would prevent backwards flow through the loop.

The only thing I did about 3 weeks ago was to add an off-delay timer for the pump, but supposedly these pumps can be wired either way with 110 voltage.
