That totally makes sense. So I picture the tank in series in the primary loop. Water will flow into the tank and back to the boiler. Then from the primary loop, just past the tank, there will be two closely spaced tees that will supply the supply and return manifolds, (basically out of the tank). Just like how my system is know with the supply and return manifolds teed together in the loop. Would that be right?
What size tank would you recommend? (300,000 BTU boiler with 3 hydraoir zones, radiant loop for Master Bath floor, and Phase III indirect). I believe there is a total of 20 gallons of water in whole system. Would an 80 gallon tank be enough?
