Joe,
I was referring to the piping of the buffer tank (not my indirect) that would be installed in the primary loop. HeatPro had said that the inlet and output for the buffer tank plumbing could be 3/4", and that would add some resistance to the prmary circuit.
My questions on that would be:

1. Will decreasing the piping from 2" to 3/4" at the buffer tank contribute to noise in the loop?
2. If you were piping the system with the above buffer tank, would you change out the 0012 pump for something smaller (0010)? I plan on running the boiler on low fire (150,000 BTU), but there is a real chance that a good part of the winter, I may have to run the boiler at 300,000 BTU if it can't keep up.
