: See if the vent can be moved outward to clear the siding. The siding can be trimmed from under the flange, just to the edge so the heat has a gap behind as well. The top edge can be sealed to the remaining siding with hi-temp silicone to prevent rain and snow wetting behind.

What do you normally see as clearance around the vent pipe itself? We have over an inch. There was no info in I&O manual
