You should use Oxygen barrier PEX. 3/4" PEX is tough to make tight bends on.

I don't recommend the instant combo units if you use a great deal of hot water. Best bet is to have a seperate indirect HWH. The reverse indirects like ErgoMax, TurboMax, Laars DuraFlow, TFI Everhot EA Series) can also act as buffer tanks for the small heat loads.

The Trinity's don't modulate down to 15K

The Munchkin T50 does 18K low fire / 50K high.
