yes, I remember nicking the threads of the radiators with the sawzall blades when removing the old radiator valves to replace them. the tops of the radiators have connections but they are plugged 100 years ago and probably difficult to remove. If I replace them, will it make a big difference if I run baseboard, vs cast iron, for the condensing boiler? The piping would look alittle better hidden behind a baseboard cover when connected in series? I'd really rather run the baseboard
