Need New Boiler Recommendations

Our boiler is on its last legs (over 35 years old, early 1970's vintage). This weekend our Water Storage Tank started leaking pretty badly. Boiler tech said no snese in getting new water storage tank and best just to get a new boiler. He said a 5 section boiler is what we would need. Our house is about 2500 square feet, 5 bedrooms.

So I need a few questions answered:

1) What would be a good boiler to get?
2) What sort of water heating system in tandem with boiler?
3) Approx how much installed for system you reccomend.
4) Tech recommended peerless or Burnham, with a preference to peerless.

I don't want bottom rung Boiler, nor do I need a "Ferrari" of boilers. I want something that is well made, installed well and has a good long waranty.

I understand the concept of you get what you pay for. I don't mind paying for quality installation.

Tech drained the hot water tank.....so we have no hot water till we get new system. Thanks in advance for your answers.
