OK, let me ask another question. Obviously a good contractor/installer makes all the difference in the world in how a particular Boiler will function/perform. That said.....

1) Do you think a peerless or Burnham boilers are any good?

2) What boilers are worth the price being paid?

3) What are the top 3 boilers in your opinion?

Thanks very much for your time. By the way I live on Long Island in NY (Suffolk County). Petro is my Oil company and they are the ones recommending Peerless & Burnham.

: There is no average or ball-park price, because different regions of countries have different shipping and labor costs. A repairman would have to see your particular situation to know whether the estimate is to include removal, patching, obstacle avoidance, permit application time, nearness to the service truck, etc. Get three estimates from local contractors recommended by satisfied neighbors.
