I may have mispoke. The piping you desribe is actually what is proposed. Return water will be tempered to prevent condensation/schock.

My system consists of cast iron radiators - over 1000EDR. My previous original post (OVERSIZED BOILER) also describes my current installation. i have essentially a single zone except for radiant floor heating in the kitchen. This is controlled with a 4way valve and its own outdoor reset controller.

Any comments regarding my basic dilemma regarding the use of 93% AFUE condensing vs 84% non-condensing?
