OK. We will go with a 1.5 " Flo-Chek from Taco.
As the Ergomax does not have a port on the top to place a Spirovent, I called Spirotherm, and the woman recommended to put the Spirovent and exp tank on the pipe going from the buffer to the boiler.
She said that the Spirovent should be 2" as the pipe is 2" and you don't want a pressure drop across the Spirovent. I was thinking of piping out of the buffer and increasing from 1.5" at tank to 2". The Spirovent would then be piped in with exp tank and then following that would be the tee for the 1.5" supply manifold to pumps.
The Spirovent is rated for flow through the boiler loop in gpm. With the 0010 pump in the boiler loop, would a Spirovent capable of 30 gpm be adequate, or should be increase to the one capable of higher?
