First of all, I want to thank you guys for all your advice. I had started the thread on 10/25/05 about asking whether to repipe or replace my copper tube boiler. You had recommended repiping and replacing my Taco 0012 pump with a smaller 0010 circulator. You had also recommended adding a storage tank to increase the mass of my system. I have finally found a local plumber who will be performing the repiping next week.
I was reading some of the posts and there was one from a guy named Jim with a similar issue on piping in a buffer tank. In my situation, you had recommended piping the buffer tank in series in the boiler loop where my old cirulator used to be, but you did not recommend piping the tank in series with him. Wouldn't I be in a similar situation where only the radiant floor circulator would be running off the tank/boiler loop? Also, I had read somehing about condensation occurring in the boiler flue if the buffer is in series, but my boiler comes on when the inlet temp is below 150, so that shouldn't be a problem with me, right? Thanks again.
Dave
