Yes. closing off or disconnecting the water coil piping won't harm the boiler.

If you have an 8124 control, pulling the blue wire out of the hole on the face of the white block in the control box and putting a small wire nut on will disable the boiler from keeping the boiler hot, yet allow a call when you need heat.

: Can I use the WBV03 to heat the house and use the electric water heater to continue to heat the water and NOT use the coil in the WBV03 by somehow bypassing it or disabling it?
