Peerless WBV03 - bypass or disable coil?

Hi, I have a quick question about the Peerless WBV03. I'm new here so please go easy. My oil company recommended this unit to replace my existing old boiler which they determined was too large for my 1400 sq. ft. home after checking the heat loss. My old boiler had a coil for DHW but did not provide enough so I installed an electric water heater after the boiler and this gave us more than enough hot water. I would like to keep this setup.

Can I use the WBV03 to heat the house and use the electric water heater to continue to heat the water and NOT use the coil in the WBV03 by somehow bypassing it or disabling it?

I know many people are going to recommend adding an indirect water tank and that will be the plan for the near future but just cannot afford it for now and the electric water heater is only a year old so also don't want to lose out on the cost of that.

Thank you very much.
