I had the same problem three years ago with my heatmaker. I changed the "flame holder" along with a new gasket. The problem was solved! Take a look at your flame holder really carefully to spot any akward bending or large holes. Make sure that your flame holder
has a special insulation glued on top of it. The manufactuer warns that if this insulation is not present that the heatmaker will not perform normal.
