Looks like it was a gauge problem. I pulled it, cleaned it, & checked it with H20 and ran it thru multiple heating cycles. Maxing out at about 2psi.

I also cleaned the pressure relief valve which works when I manually trip it but I am replacing the it anyway.

How can I test the pressuretrol? It is a PA404A. When I manually push up on the plunger it cuts off the burnerbut are there any other diagnostics that you recommend?
