I have a GB SMITH residential hot water boiler that is making all kinds of popping sounds as the boiler reachs its temp.cutout of 180 degrees.I have checked the pump its ok,the pressure is 13lbs and there is no air in the lines. There is no leaks in the system and my water is chicago city water which is good.I used 8 way water treatment and it stopped making the noise for a couple days then started again. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
