Peerless Steam boiler pressure of 4.5 PSI

I was told something is wrong with the system as 4.5 PSI is 2 high. I had new pigtale lower cut off and auto feed installed along with a new guage. That Honeypart with the screw is set to .5 psi and a DIFF of 2. The boiler will go to 4.5 psi cut off and 2.5 turn off until the temperature is reach. This is a Gas Peerless unit I had the hosue for 12 years and not sure how old it is but looks new green in color..

Please let me know if this guy is taking me for a ride. its a 1 family home 2 floors.
