:HI i too have this system same thing not first owner.
I have been having alot of trouble with it. I cleaned it myself. Was not that hard and got another 3 months till it went down again. I have been told mine needs a new relay box. Been quoted over 1000 for that. Funny since I looked up parts that come in at under 50 dollars?? Have you had any sucess in getting yours fixed. Mine is a closed glycol system.
The fellow who came out of Red Deer, I live in Rocky. He was here to quote me on a replacement system. This took him a long time. His quote came in at over $20,000 dollars, and you did not read that wrong. Thats alot of cash. Plus 11 days down time plus pay for a truck daily and travel. I don't know what to do. That sounds ridiculous to me. So a repair with a warranty makes six hundred sound good.
For his visit I paid him 240.00 he didn't do much but showed ME!! how to blow out the burners with an air compressor. Easy job. If you have a repair man in just watch him. good luck. I have to go and stoke my wood stove now , my only source of heat till I get this thing fixed again.
