It is an old American Standard steam boiler 132,000 BTU, Round Type R boiler, No. 1735, Series 10X.

I took a sample of insulation to an epa accredited lab and it is fiberglass, so no asbestos.

If steel, can I use a large grinder with cutting wheels, or a large metal cutting circular saw? I am not sure how thick the steel is. Could they really be thicker than 1/8 inch or 1/4 inch max?
