Circulator not shutting off...

I've recently moved in and found that the circulator on our hot water storage tank/booster is always running... I've looked into, and I've got all the parts, it just doesn't seem to be working right. I've got a burnham boiler hooked up to an L8124 triple zone aquastat. I've got a 006-bt4 taco circ. on the tank, with a honeywell l4080b therm/aquastat in a well on the tank. it's all hooked up in the middle to a taco sr501. I've gone over the wiring and I know it's all in the right place, but the thermostat on the tank never seems to shut the circulator off. If I disconnect the therm, it shuts it off, so I think the system is "working"... all the parts(except the L8124 on the burnham) are brand new. Is the thermostat just bad? Any help would be greatly appreciated
