Thanks. It's just odd that the solder would last 2 1/2 yrs. Where would you typically need expansion areas in the circuit, and what would you use?

Also, this glycol seems to be more trouble than it's worth. We have 2 air handlers in unheated space, and Onyx tubing under a floor that is cantilevered out past the rear wall of the house. But in the subzero temps, wouldn't these all be running and hot anyways? Do we really need glycol? We live in southern New England.
