Honeywell Aquastat 8124C adjustment for Cold Start

Recently I added an indirect hot water heather tank to my oil boiler. In order to save oil, I was considering into converting my system for cold start. I have a Honeywell Aquastat 8124C. Could I re-adjust and/or modify this unit or should I replace it for another unit? I was considering the L8148 or L7224U.
Any advice and recommendations?
