well, the gas co guy came today as we have a maintenance agreement with them, and God knows we get our money's worth.

He says he ran the boiler through 15 cycles without one lockout, so he will be coming back tomorrow to replace the circuitboard/control board.

They also did this last year....does that make sense?

Also, someone had recommended replacing the boiler relief valve with one that opens at 40 psi and to run boiler at 25-30 max to keep the air out of the 3rd floor zone (as it is about 40 feet above the boiler). Would it be OK to replace the relief valve on the ergomax with a cap as it communicates freely with the boiler and thus the relief valve on the boiler would protect it, or should I also place a 40 psi relief on ergomax if we decide to do that?
