ok here are the specifics. I ve got tappings high and low for the loop. I have a "manifold", 1.25" blk w/ a reducing coup on the end to accept the well, this is on the supply(high)side. I was thinking that potentially I could use the aquastat from an old steel new yorker. I have a sub panel where I can pull power to a service switch then from there I split off to the kick, and the control. now this might seem like an improvisation, the steam boiler is old american standard single zone relay, with a pressure switch as the control. now what I plan to do is use the b1 and b2 off of the aquastat to power a transformer which would then in turn activate the relay on the boiler subsequently firing the burner. now with my limited experience, one problem that seems apparent is... what if both t-stats are calling. I know there is a voltage drop along the way I just don't want to overload the 24v relay with 48v or something close to that. tell me where I am going wrong.please
