+++OK, but then I don't understand why the 0010 pushed hot water forward through all the zones when the supply header was attached at the supply from the boiler to the tank?

When the plumber comes in the next week or two to hook up the DHW through the Ergomax, I will have him measure pressures on either side of the bypass valve and post them here.
