+++But we had flo-cheks placed just after every individual 007 zone pump. I would think if there were no pressure differential, we would not have seen hot pipes all over the house (the Phase III DHW was 180 deg instaed of 130).
Unless,, with the 007's off, and water moving toward them from boiler circuit, it was just the path of least resistance, through each individual circuit with 0010 running.
I guess if we piped house return header to boiler supply to Ergomax, this would not happen because individual flo-cheks will not allow reverse flow through zones. And since ergomax/Boiler circuit has almost no head loss, it will not restrict flow from house return header into ergomax tank when return header is teed to boiler supply to tank?
