Hi:

Having lived in apartment buildings my entire adult life, I am a novice when it comes to furnaces. We have an oil burner furnace that, when the weather is warm, turns on probably 3 times an hour to heat water to 170 degrees (from about 120 degrees). It runs for 4 or 5 minutes, then shuts off.

Now, is there anyway to keep the temperature from dropping so quickly, thus keeping the furnace from running so often?

A real novice, huh?

Thanks in advance for your help.
