It only proves that the tech guys don't understand burner controls. No matter whether there are one or two-stage burner circuits, there is only ONE auto-reset HIGH LIMIT. The instructions I referred to and that come with the control show how to connect it as discussed in the previous posts to that high limit.

Did you talk to the Lochinvar tech guys, the Max tech guys, the Beckett tech guys, or a plumber or supplier tech guy? Or was it one of the 'undisclosed sources' of the newspaper?

In other words, the UNHEARD OF concept of following the Beckett manufacturer's instructions and wiring diagram escapes them. Oh well, at least in time they'll figure out what it does and how to wire it.

Leave the differential setting as set by the Lochinvar factory.
