Time to replace my boiler and I'm looking for some recommendations...specs on my home and existing boiler follow: American Standard Series #1BJ1, Boiler #GPM6 (presume this boiler is ~30 y.o.); In/Out = 165k/132k = 80% Eff. House is 55 y.o, type is cape cod (1 7/8 story) size is 1300sf on first...second floor is unheated and not plumbed. Upgraded insulation in second floor and new windows throughout home. System is a single loop/no zones with one circulating pump. Located in Medina County Ohio (~30 mi. south of Cleveland). Any ideas, recs. and budget $ thoughts would be appreciated...thank you!
