+++Joe, I'll set the boiler to 150 and see how long it takes to reheat the DHW.
As far as keeping the buffer at 150, I know our boiler cannot see temps below 140 due to condensation issues with the copper tubes. I was thinking of having the tank aquastat turn on the boiler at 150 and have the boiler shut down at 170. Is that enough of a differential for savings on natural gas?
