I would check your TR-60 and see how fast the temp drops when running a long shower or running the washer. When the buffer is at it's min temp of 150°, it might take a while to recover. (Experiment by setting the boiler now to max 150° and see how long it takes to recover.)You might look into an outdoor reset like Tekmar or Taco's that would override the reset target temp and run the boiler up to the max temp for better recovery when the indirect calls for heat.

With such a large mass of water, you shouldn't need to bring all that water up to 180° anymore, unless it get's extremely cold out and the air handlers need it.
