Like Heatpro said, its better to keep the tank at the lowest possible temp and have the circulator running constantly to maintain the temp you want in the house for the most comfort and savings.
+++What circulator would you be referring to? We would have 5 007 taco pumps (one for each zone on the supply header). We`also have the 0010 pump that will pump water through the boiler into the tank.
I thought it would be good to only let that 0010 circulator come on when the tank calls for heat (say at 150).
There would be no circulator pumping out of the tank to the supply header. That would be done by each zone pump, right?
