Hot Water Toe Kick not heating

I have added a toe kick unit under our kitchen sink to help supplement heat in the kitchen. I tied the piping into the 3/4" supply and return that feeds the existing radiator in the kitchen which runs right under the sink. The problem is the water is not circulating thru the toe kick. The radiator is heating up but not the toe kick. I have made sure all the air is bled from the toe kick but still no heat. Was it not a good idea to tie into the supply and return going to an existing radiator? Should the supply have come off the larger two inch supply? Any suggestions? Thanks, Jim
