Old house (finally!). Gas Forced Air (Can't stand it, that's what politicians are for). Complete remodel (anything is possable). House is solid masonry construction and will be gutted, with exposed brick in the loft style so popular in the urban areas these days. I love the feel and sound of steam heat having lived in several apartments over the years that had it. Hydronic with base boards sound ok also. What is the best way to 'Air Condition' either system? House is 2 floors, plus attic, plus basement. Summers have maybe 5 to 15 days over 90 deg. Winters maybe 5 days under 10 deg.
