Hi, i really need some advice. Here is the problem. I have a single pipe steam system in a 2 family house, boiler in basement. I had some leaky shut off valves on the radiators on the first and 2nd floors . i bought new valves and changed them, since then my bedroom sounds like the atlantic ocean and water spurts out of that little round vapor valve. And those little vapor valves constantly make a loud steam noise. So i changed all of them #4's for ground level # 5's for 2nd floor. now they stopped making noise but still lot's of sloshing and gurgling. What is going on? Also before all this my boiler was cycling on and off within minutes so someone told me to increase the pressure setting from 1 to 2 ,should i have done that?
Thanks, i would really appreciate the help
