I just put in a Burnham indepence steam boiler, I have a 1 pipe system. The question is can you use a digital thermostat to regulate the heat. For instance can you program the thermostat to different temps during the night and the day to cut down on heating costs. Or is this going to cause me to have the annoying sound of water hamers. Is it best with a steam system to just keep it at one constant temp. Thanks
