I have the same problem and am very interested in the answers. I, on the other hand, do not want to turn off the radiator, because then it gets too cold in the room. But unfortunately everytime I turn on this radiator water squirts out of the air valve. When I watch the site glass on the boiler, the water seems to be sucked out and go straight into the pipe that's supplying heat to this particular radiator. I've hired a professional at $200 to try and fix it, all he can tell me is to change all the air valves in the whole system and it would cost me extra. I've changed all the air vents on all radiators and checked the pitch of all the radiators. I've even added chemicals to the water to keep it from surging. I've also checked the pressure and have it set at 1/2 psi with 1 psi differential. I'm at my wits end. It really does seem like water is being thrown up from the boiler to this one pipe. Please help!
