Thanks very much. Yes the A dimension is correct and the pressure is as low as it can be. I installed an elbow and a pipe instead of the pressure relief valve and skimmed the system. It seems to have help. The banging is not as loud any more. It is now a soft thump. I'm going to let the system run, then re-skim it again in another week. Hopefully this will help. If not, I will write again. Thanks very much.
