I am installing a navien ncb210 in my 1800 square foot house. I am going to run three taco delta t pumps. I did my heat loss based on 150 degree supply temp and I will be setting the pumps to a delta t of 20 degrees. A friend is telling me it is not cost effective to run 3 pumps at 200 dollars each and I would be better off running zone valves and one pump. It is to my understanding that modern condensing and modulating boilers run most efficient at a return temp of about 130 degrees. I read somewhere and I do not remember where, that I would save about 300 dollars a year in gas with 3 separate delta t pumps operating along side of a modulating boiler. Also about 50 dollars a year on electricity.
