i have a crown freeport odv. on startup (after being dormant for 6 months), the boiler started but then chokes and dies after 3 - 5 secs. when it dies the exhaust comes back thru the front. i've cleaned the inside of boiler, new filter and new nozzle. my next step is to remove the vent pipe and inspect for blockage. anything else i should inspect. my service call is 4 days away.
