I am a casualty of hurricane Sandy. My home is being gutted out. its a bi-level type ranch, 8 steps down to basement 5 steps up to 1st floor. its about 1200 sq.ft each level. right now I have an old forced hot air system. house was built in 1960. I have the opportunity now to put in a hot water system. I was thinking of a Rheem tankless hot water heater or indirect WH in combination with a gas boiler. My friend can get Rheem at cost but I believe Rheem does not make boilers.

my dad has a burnham revolution rv5 with a taco outdoor reset which he loves. burnham doesn't make the revolution anymore. He said I should look into a condensing boiler. My questions are should I go with condensing and which brands are the best bang for buck ratio. If non condensing then same questions. Also servicing any brand suggested is a consideration. thanks.
