: : : : : Here's what we all have been waiting for for years! The law firm below is gathering information for a class action lawsuit against Burnham on behalf of people whose v-73 oil burners have failed. If you are one of the victims of Burnham's v-73 boiler "warranty" go to this link for more info:

: : : I purchased V-75 Burnham in 1997. Had a cracked block 9 yrs later. Replaced with KV-85 Burnham=3/07. 10/10 block on REPLACEMENT cracked. would like to add my name to lawsuit. firstname.lastname@example.org

: May 26,2011 I received a call from a Mr George Sheets representing Burnham. He claimed "burners just dont last as long as they used to -they are now made of thinner material to be more cost effective- 20 years ago burners cost $20000. Mr Sheets claimed that in order to have the burner more affordable, they had to use less durable (hence cheaper) material. My problem, and that of many other dissatisfied Burnham customers is that now I am spending $7000 every 3-4 years due to a shoddy prodct as it fails and my basement floods. I own a 2-family home and tenants leave due to no heat or poor heat as the furnace block cracks-and this is with a temp set at 74 degrees 24/7. whats wrong with this picture???
: Prior furnace in my home lasted over 25 years..................... YUP, MINE CRACKED AT 9 YEARS. BURNHAM SUCKS!!!!
