I have a WM PCG-6 Series 1 boiler with a Honeywell L8048 aquastat relay that is wired to a single t-stat. One circulator and three circuits, each with a Taco 571-2. None of the zone valves are wired; they're just in manual open. I'd like to change that and am looking for the specs on L8048. Anyone know how many zone valves it will support? Recommended wiring? Currently the single t-stat connects the TV and T terminals on the L8048, but I do see a third terminal marked Z. I'm guessing that's Z for zones! I know the Tacos go in series and have the wiring diagram for that but just want make sure I connect correctly to the relay and that I do/don't need an additional transformer. Taco says 3 valves per 40 VA transformer. Thanks a lot.
