So I thought we had enough play in the pipes to do a new tile floor in one of our bathrooms. Well it turns out we do not. The inlet side is a 1/2" higher and the steam trap side is a 1/4" higher on the radiator then the pipes. How can I easily fix this without too many complications and also not tearing up the new floor? The inlet side pipe is 3 feet long but the out side only has a small nipple going to God knows where in the floor and it is about 5" long at best guess.
