: : Does anyone know where I can find info on FP Industries boilers?

: : I have a W2 120 wood boiler in my basement that I'd like to switch to but first I need to find out if it is CSA approved.

: I have one of these boilers working in my home that I just bought. I just saw your post and checked, there is a CSA Tag on it with the issue # of 437261. Your right there isn't alot of info for this boiler or the company. I found this one worked better when I put a screen mesh (1/2 inch holes)on the grate.

::I have a question about the fp wood boiler. mine is a 1982 boiler. Above the door there is a panel door that is held on by 4 bolts. One of the bolts broke off. They were welded on. My question is what is the material the boiler is made of. Iwant to drill a hole in the place where the bolt was. If it is cast iron my question is can cast iron be drilled and threaded without cracking it?
