: Our logic is that while we're using the fireplace, why not distribute the heat generated in it to the rest of the house. This system works quite well at my husband's family home in Greece--toasty. I just see it as such a waste to enjoy a fire while not taking advantage of the abundant heat source that it provides. I'd love to retrofit one. Make sense?
