Why not use indoor reset. The thermostat is the best indicator of heat loss and need for replacement. The outdoor is out doors.

: I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge about an outdoor reset (Weather Responsive Control) for my Ultra Oil 3? I have heard that adding one to a boiler can make a difference in the efficiency of a boiler, however, I don't know much about them. I got a price to install a Tekmar 256 today, $756.00, but don't know if it is worth the money to have it installed. Also, I've been told that they are pretty simple to install yourself, any thoughts on that?
