We built a home in '99 and the builder & plumber recommended installing a Burnham Boiler for our heating and hotwater system. We have just had our 3rd Burnham Boiler start leaking. Many of our neighbors have gone through the same problems with their units. After the first failure, Burnham told us this was unusual and paid for replacement parts and plumber costs. The last one, they sent a new unit, but we had to cover the installation. Now that the 3rd unit has failed, we are looking at other alternatives to Burnham. The last boiler is just 1 year old. From the Burnham site, we noted that we have not been the only homeowners that are getting tired of constant repair.
